Fighting Season

"It's not the bullet with my name on it that worries me. It's the one that says 'To Whom it May Concern'."

Fighting Season ponders how that statement might have held up in the Kandahar province of 2008.

Disclaimer: This piece is a work of fiction, inspired by the playwright's research into the Afghanistan conflict.

Tom Craig

Tom is an Oakville-based writer and voice performer, excited to make his first contribution to House of Rebels.  A graduate of York University's Playwriting program, Tom is also an alumnus of Mike Kirby's Voiceworx studio and has two professional demos available for perusal at Voices.com.  His interests include history, folklore, the genre of fantasy and all forms of voice over, from commercials to cartoons.  Inspired to get back into the swing of theatre by the Rebels, Tom is currently developing a post-apocalyptic, episodic podcast play entitled "The Deadman's Tale".  Stay tuned...

Tom would like thank his family, friends and everyone involved with Murmurs for making life so darn interesting.  Special thanks to Megan Demelo for her spot-on dramaturgy and Garett Oliver, whose previous collaborations helped the idea of this piece grow.
